IT Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d)

Responsibilites:
- Support and maintain server infrastructure, including system efficiency improvements.
- Analyze infrastructure, security services, and networks; take ownership of systems.
- Administer servers (Proxy Servers, Firewalls, Windows, and Red Hat).
- Handle email security, web communication security, and file transfer security.
- Assess the security of the existing environment.
- Stay informed about current and future information security threats and challenges.
- Provide high-quality, responsive, and consistent resolutions to IT incidents.
- Collaborate closely with other operations teams and vendors to ensure a coordinated approach to infrastructure support; participate in regular service reviews.
- Oversee and manage the infrastructure support queue, ensuring all tickets are resolved/fulfilled within SLA, and customer satisfaction targets and other KPIs are met.
- Provide periodic reporting and management information on infrastructure performance and operational KPIs.
- Support operations in their patching schedules, acting as an escalation point.
- Produce technical documentation and manage technical migrations.
- Ensure Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience. Firewall or Network Certifications are a plus.
- Able to work in a multinational environment, team player, flexible, and possess good communication skills.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar position.
- Enterprise Firewall Administration (Checkpoint, Cisco, Fortigate, Clavister, etc.).
- Ironport Web and Mail appliances.
- Encryption Device Experience (administration and/or implementations).
- Genua experience is a plus.
- Security Operations Center (SOC) experience.
- Commitment to act with integrity and align with compliance requirements.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
