IT Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d)

Responsibilites:

• Support and maintain server infrastructure, including system efficiency improvements.
• Analyze infrastructure, security services, and networks; take ownership of systems.
• Administer servers (Proxy Servers, Firewalls, Windows, and Red Hat).
• Handle email security, web communication security, and file transfer security.
• Assess the security of the existing environment.
• Stay informed about current and future information security threats and challenges.
• Provide high-quality, responsive, and consistent resolutions to IT incidents.
• Collaborate closely with other operations teams and vendors to ensure a coordinated approach to infrastructure support; participate in regular service reviews.
• Oversee and manage the infrastructure support queue, ensuring all tickets are resolved/fulfilled within SLA, and customer satisfaction targets and other KPIs are met.
• Provide periodic reporting and management information on infrastructure performance and operational KPIs.
• Support operations in their patching schedules, acting as an escalation point.
• Produce technical documentation and manage technical migrations.
• Ensure Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience. Firewall or Network Certifications are a plus.
• Able to work in a multinational environment, team player, flexible, and possess good communication skills.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar position.
• Enterprise Firewall Administration (Checkpoint, Cisco, Fortigate, Clavister, etc.).
• Ironport Web and Mail appliances.
• Encryption Device Experience (administration and/or implementations).
• Genua experience is a plus.
• Security Operations Center (SOC) experience.
• Commitment to act with integrity and align with compliance requirements.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
