(Junior) IT Helpdesk / System Administrator (m/f/x)

Location: Luxemburg

Your responsibilities:

  • Coordinate supplier releases for all Component Suppliers to meet manufacturing schedules and customer demands
  • Provide detailed material forecasts to vendors with required due dates
  • Respect the Financial Budget of Stock Value from Raw Material portfolio
  • Establish purchase orders and purchase requisitions in order to get materials, goods and supplies
  • Review deliveries against the orders and track the status of any orders
  • Track Vendor delivery performance/expedited freight occurrences
  • Escalate supplier issues to Commodity Purchaser and Suppliers Quality Manager as necessary
  • Ensure that any invoices are sent to accounts for payment and resolve invoicing/receipt issues between suppliers and Accounting
  • Deal with non-supplied, under orders, over orders and damaged goods
  • Produce and maintain all reports

Your qualification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Business Administration or Purchasing
  • 4 - 8 years of experience in Purchasing, Material Planning or Supply Chain Management
  • Experience in Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI)
  • Lean Thinking and Lean Tooling experience are appreciated
  • Strong working knowledge of QAD, MRP, Supplier Portal or similar business operating systems
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally within internal and external areas such as Finance, Engineering, Production, Purchasing, Suppliers
  • APICS Certification is recommended
  • Excellent knowledge of English
