• Lead Advanced Product Development projects from concept to SOP, adhering to the R&D process, by managing the APD engineering team and collaborating with internal or external partners.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for the assigned technology field and product family across the organization.
• Act as the main interface for the Product Manager, providing market insights and product roadmaps, while independently developing the R&D strategy to achieve product maturity within the set timeline and budget.
• Develop and manage the budget for the product family, taking full responsibility for ensuring development activities align with financial goals.

Your Qualifications:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, physics, optics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in a relevant role with demonstrated career growth.
• Experience in the automotive supply industry is a plus, particularly with materials such as glass, coatings, or plastics.
• Strong product design experience, including GD&T and DFMEA.
• Knowledge of automotive customer testing and performance requirements.
