Health Safety Environment Coordinator (m/f/x)

Location: Luxemburg

Your responsibilities:

  • Ensuring compliance with European and national laws, orders and regulations related to workplace health, safety and in particular to environment
  • Developing and implementing practices to identify/mitigate hazardous conditions within the workplace and external environments
  • Investigating accidents and environmental incidents and work with internal and external departments, engineers, management, and health and safety regulatory authorities to identify causes of accidents and prevent their recurrence
  • Providing advice and training on environmental/ safety protocols and conducting audits to ensure compliance with organization and government standards related to environmental and employee health and safety
  • Maintaining relationships with the community, environmental groups and other stakeholders impacted by the environmental performance of the organization. Emphasizing cooperation with local authorities and certification bodies to comply with legal and management systems requirements and regulations. Submit environmental reports.
  • Manage environmental permits as related to energy (air, water, electricity, gas) and waste. This includes working knowledge and understanding of permit requirements, control measures and reporting responsibilities for waste management and energy data.
  • Keeping up to date MSDS database
  • Manage wastes (contact with suppliers, visual management of wastes segregation, wastes balance, SDK label to maintain, payments)
  • Represent EHS during AQP teams
  • Be the sustainability internal and external key contact person

Your qualification:

  • Bachelor or Master degree (chemical, industrial risks, or technical background completed with EHS trainings) or comparable
  • Working experience in EHS coordination roles
  • Good knowledge of the latest applicable EHS regulations and legal requirements as well as the most common EHS risk assessment tools and processes
  • An understanding of continuous improvement, internal auditing practice, and the ability to coordinate schedules
  • Ability to collect and analyze data for reporting purposes
  • Ability to lead project or improvements until the end
  • Self-disciplined for autonomously prioritize assignments t.
  • Certified Technical Course of Health and Safety at Work (travailleur désigné) is an asse
  • Fluency in English and French, German required
