Requirements Engineer (m/w/d) Vehicle Motion Control

Location: Frankfurt am Main

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Create System Requirement Specification from System till Hardware level
  • Derive customer, legal and internal requirements into technical system requirements to meet and exceed demands in terms of Functionality, Quality, Reliability and Functional Safety
  • Link requirements to the architecture of the Vehicle Motion Control System
  • Lead joint requirement reviews and refinements with Function Development, System Architecture, Controls- and Validation Engineering
  • Ensure Traceability of requirements to test cases
  • Support Reviews of Functional Safety Requirements with Functional Safety Engineering

Your qualification:

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in electronics, mechatronics, computer science, physics, or comparable field of study
  • At least 3+ years of working experience in development of vehicle dynamics control functions
  • Skilled in model-based development by Matlab/ Simulink
  • Good knowledge of vehicle dynamics physics
  • Experienced in vehicle controller architecture for active chassis components, powertrain, and steering
  • Knowledge of automotive development processes according ASPICE and ISO 26262
  • In vehicle evaluation and prototype handling experience
  • Excellent communication skills with open and structured mindset
  • Very good German and English language skills
