Software Quality Engineer (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities:

  • Previous demonstrated experience delivering products following the quality management lifecycle.
  • Supporting the project in selecting an adequate level of processes, Standards, and procedures (Tailoring) in line with internal requirements and customer requirements.
  • Own System - Software Quality Assurance Plan and approaching for product development throughout the product life cycle.
  • Analyzing and ensure implementation of customer quality requirements.
  • Plan, coordinate, guide, and report the relevant quality assurance activities in the project quality team, inline with project and internal company milestones.
  • Proactively access process compliance in Engineering, Management and Supporting processes in line with processes.
  • Proactively access projects all work products of System and SW V cycle, Requirements, Architecture, Design, Code, Test specs, Test reports in line with processes.
  • Support release reviews ensuring the releases made to the customer are in line with expectations (GPEP).
  • Together with Program Quality assure quality of release procedure and baselines (System, Hardware, Mechanic, Software).
  • Proactively identifying risks and escalate issues for non-compliances impacting Project and milestones in terms of cost, quality, and schedule.

Your qualification:

  • Bachelor or Master’s in Engineering or equivalent
  • 5+ years’ experience in engineering quality, engineering design and development, project management or comparable experience in Automotive Electronics Industry. Experience duration to be evaluated based on education level
  • Excellent knowledge in effective quality standards within the automotive industry.
  • Relevant experience in performing quality assurance activities during embedded development.
  • Competent skills in Automotive SPICE.
  • Knowledge of quality specification such as SW Design ISO-25010, System SW Quality Metrics and SW Coding Standards (e.g. MISRA), Test Management techniques within the automotive industry
  • Comprehensive knowledge MS Office package tools.
  • Advanced knowledge in ALM/PLM systems (E.g: PTC Integrity/Windchill)
  • Very good German and English language skills
